I Really Should...

Maybe I should finish filling the dishwasher and go to bed. I have to drive Stitch (for lack of a better term, lets think of him as my partner-in-crime, lover etc.) to work because his bike (bicycle) is in the shop getting fixed, and it would be cruel and unusual punishment for me to make him walk the 6+ miles to work in the cold and crummy weather. Problem is, I'm too tired (yes, too tired!) to even get off this chair to change my clothes, much less walk to the other side of the house and finish filling the dishwasher. Yes, in this case, it's just plain laziness.

I have a large gauge septum piercing (2g = 1/4") That means there is a pretty big hole in my nose. I wear jewelry, but since it's a plug, it can't be seen most of the time, unless it's sneezed out (happens pretty often) or you happen to look up in there. Did I mention I'm a wimp and I dislike pain? Quit laughing! It's true! Well I sneezed out my plug earlier and I was totally fascinated by the huge hole in my nose. I so rarely see it as just a hole. Well, my septum dislikes the current plug I bought a few weeks ago as an "emergency" piece, and I've decided that I'll be putting off purchasing a new one because it's too expensive and I want to tape up and stretch it to 0g (5/16") anyway. Now in part because my septum hates the jewelry and I'm a wimp and the hole tends to shrink a little when I wait too long, I needed to use a numbing agent to put the plug back in. It's not fun, but it makes the process a little more tolerable. The way I whine about the sensitivity, you'd think that getting it pierced in the first place was torture for me. Well, it wasn't. My piercer used a 7g needle followed by 6g jewelry. I didn't cry moan or scream. I was focused. It wasn't until about an hour afterwards that the pain came. Easiest least painful thing that was ever done to me.

Speaking of torture, in about 20 hours from now, the bloodletting that was cancelled last week will be done. I'm slightly anxious and nervous about it, but that's a good thing. Yeah, I think I'll go do those dishes now. Goodnight
