Sleep? Uhmm...I've totaled about 8 or so (meaning LESS) over the past 72 hours. Today promises to be more busy than originally planned due to circumstances beyond my control. I had my sweet guy take my suitcase out of the rafters in the garage last night and discovered that it was broken. Yes, broken!The inside frame must have cracked during my last trip. I'm not sure how, but now I not only have to do a (very large) load (possibly 2 loads) of laundry, shoe shopping, and cook enough food to last a week for the people here, I also have to go suitcase shopping! I am not fond of the traditional red or black...no! I must have something that stands out from the crowd! My dear beloved suitcase that broke was hot pink and white checked. I have no clue as to what I'll get this time.
Mom is red and blistered with second and third degree burns on the left side of her chest, underarm and back. It's not pretty. She was so miserable I had to take her to see the doctor yesterday. More pain pills were given to her. She's unhappy, and, for the first time since the whole ordeal started, she is complaining. Hopefully this trip we're taking will help her get some much-needed R & R. I know I'll be having fun! A pajama derby is already planned!
Since it's only about 6 a.m. I have a few hours to waste before I can do laundry and hit the mall. I'm meditating, writing and generally going crazy.
Oh! One last thing...
